Amy Barnes

Amy is a native of Alexander County living in Taylorsville, North Carolina with her husband, Rodney and their children Bailey and Isaac. Amy graduated from Alexander Central High School and attended Wilkes Community College. She started her career in the legal field right out of high school working with an attorney in Bethlehem, N.C. and then went on to work for Alexander County Social Services prior to joining Ralston, Benton, Byerley & Moore, PLLC. She comes with 13 years of experience in the legal field. Amy currently works in our Taylorsville office where she primarily handles domestic and civil litigation matters for Attorney Matthew Byerley.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys riding horses, barrel racing and going camping with her family and friends.
